The Cambio · 24 hour watch
One hand.
Twenty-four hours.
A single hand turns once a day, midday at the top. Time shown more naturally, not more accurately, in the tradition of Jacopo de’Dondi’s 24 hour clock face, Padua, 1344.

How to read it
Read the whole day at a glance.
Midday sits at the top, midnight at the bottom. The hand passes each marker only once a day. The dial is marked in 10 minute steps. With a moment's focus you can read it to the nearest five minutes. When does it truly matter if it's 15:59 or 16:00?
Why it's easier than it looks
One place on the dial, one time of day.

Rare by design
Unless you’re a horology buff, you’ve likely never seen an analogue 24 hour dial.
A conversation starter
One hand and double the numerals. It’s sure to spark a curious question.
A new sense of time
You begin to see where you are in your day, not just when.
It’s also a compass
Southern Hemisphere: point the 12 at the sun, and the hand points north.
“The result of wearing the 24 hour dial and single hand is a dramatic shift in how time is perceived in relation to your day.”
“Either a minimalist masterpiece or an annoying waste of time…”

Our story
A 700 year old idea, worn on the wrist.
In 1344, Jacopo de’Dondi built what is widely held to be the first clock face, in Padua. A 24 hour face, of course. When the world moved to the 12 hour system, the 24 hour dial was all but forgotten. Jacopo Dondi began on Kickstarter in 2016, backed by 283 supporters.
